How we cover these six
The six apps on this page are not equally knowable, and the difference is not about how big they are. Three of them publish a catalogue we can read by script — ReelShort at 766 series, NetShort at 717 and ShortMax at 402, which is the 1,885 series behind every figure on this site. For DramaBox, FlexTV and GoodShort we have no catalogue at all — not a partial one, none. Their pages here carry pricing and nothing else, and that gap is the honest reason why.
Where a series page shows how far a show runs free, that figure was read from the platform's own series page rather than estimated: ReelShort states it for all 766 we hold, NetShort for all 717, and ShortMax for 401 of its 402 — 1,884 of 1,885 in total. The dollar figures are a different kind of number. Pack prices come from Apple's US App Store listing and from figures supplied to us, both dated on the page; the coins-per-episode rate underneath them is modelled, because only one platform has ever given us a real one. Every page says which is which.
What you will not find here is a winner. Cost per episode moves with which coin pack you happen to buy, catalogues overlap unevenly, and we have not watched enough of any of them to rank quality. The comparison this page supports is narrower and checkable: what a series of a given length costs to finish, and how far in each app stops being free. How we source and check all of it is written down.
